Description : The Heir is the fourth book in Kiera Cass’s The Selection series, set about two decades after the original trilogy. Princess Eadlyn Schreave, the first woman in her family in generations to be next in line for the throne, never wanted a fairy-tale romance. But when her parents persuade her to hold a Selection of her own, she agrees, partly to calm a restless kingdom and partly to buy herself time. As thirty-five suitors arrive at the palace, Eadlyn finds that the cameras, the politics, and her own guarded heart are far more complicated than she expected. It’s a glamorous, dramatic start to a new generation’s story.
