Description:
Meg Murry is an awkward, stubborn teenager who feels like she doesn’t fit in at school. Her father, a brilliant scientist, disappeared years ago while working on a secret government project, and Meg and her extraordinarily gifted little brother, Charles Wallace, long to find him. One stormy night, three strange and magical beings, Mrs Whatsit, Mrs Who and Mrs Which, appear and reveal that her father is alive but trapped somewhere in the universe.
With the help of Calvin O’Keefe, a classmate, Meg and her brother journey across space and time through a “tesseract,” a wrinkle that lets them travel vast distances in an instant. Their quest leads them to a planet shrouded in darkness, where a powerful evil force threatens everything they love, and Meg must find the courage to face it using the very qualities she thought were weaknesses.
