Description:
The Baudelaire orphans are sent to live with their Aunt Josephine, a nervous woman who is afraid of almost everything, from doorknobs and stoves to realtors and the telephone. She lives in a precarious house perched high on a cliff overlooking Lake Lachrymose, a vast and gloomy body of water filled with dangerous leeches.
Despite her many fears, Aunt Josephine is passionate about grammar, and she treats the children kindly. But when Count Olaf appears in yet another disguise, the siblings must find a way to convince the adults around them and stop him before he carries out his latest scheme. With storms, shaky cliffs and desperate choices ahead, Violet, Klaus and Sunny must once again depend on their cleverness and one another.
